Frequently asked questions

Does the hotel have WIFI?

Yes, for a usage fee. Open your browser from your accommodation and you'll be connected to a site with options to pay for Wi-Fi by credit or debit card. You can either pay as you go or purchase 24 hours' access for £12.

If you have booked a dog-friendly room, your dog can sleep in the room with you.  Dogs are also welcome to doze by the open fire in the Bistro Bar, and in the hotel beer garden. There are lots of great walks around, and there are dog-friendly areas indoors and outdoors at the Crieff Hydro Clubhouse - located on the main resort.

What facilities are included?

Pack your swimsuit, gym gear and dancing shoes, because all guests staying the Murraypark enjoy our 'Passport to Crieff Hydro'.  This gives you free access to facilities such as the gym, cinema and swimming pool (with steam room, spa bath and sauna). You're also welcome to attend Crieff Hydro's daily entertainments programme, including our famous Scottish ceilidh dances.

How do I find out about outdoor activities?

Yes.  Crieff Hydro activity centre offers a wide range of fun and challenging activities, all of which can be booked online in advance.  Find out what's available and enquire online.

How do I browse/book Spa treatments?

Crieff Hydro's Spa offers a range of health and beauty treatments, and we recommend you book in advance.  Find out what's available and enquire online.

What entertainment is there?

The entertainment programme at Crieff Hydro typically includes 5-a-side football, bowls and treasure hunts by day; and ceilidhs and family quizzes by night. Paper copies of the programme are available from the Murraypark reception and the entertainments desk at BIG Country.  Alternatively, view it online now.

What does the local area offer?

In a word: lots. The Crieff Hydro resort itself has a golf course, daily entertainments and over 60 on-site activities for adults and children of all ages and interests.

Surrounding Perthshire is great for exploring too; The Famous Grouse Distillery, Stuart Crystal visitor centre and various historic sites including castles.  There's too much to mention here, so ask our friendly staff for recommendations and directions.

How far is it to the Hydro?

The Hydro is just a five minute walk from the Murraypark, and we're happy to provide free transport on request.

Is there childcare available?

Yes, at BIG Country - Crieff Hydro's fully-supervised childcare club.  For the 2-12s, there are three sessions daily from 09:30-12:30; 13:30-16:30 and 18:30-21:30.  Each three-hour session costs £15-£18 per child, and booking is advised.  Alternatively, BIG Country's soft play area is available (free and unsupervised) from 15:00-18:00 daily.

The childcare club also includes a fantastic crèche for the under 2s.  This costs £15 per child for 1.5 hour sessions between 09:30 and 16:30.

To book either of the above please call 01764 651663.

If you have older children and teenagers, the Gallery (above the Hub) has a TV, pool table, table football and Xbox.

Is there a babysitting service?

Crieff Hydro's crèche (within BIG Country) is available until 21:30, for a small fee.  Babysitters are also able to mind children at the Murraypark (subject to staff availability and charges).  Booking is essential, so call the childcare team as soon as possible on 01764 651663.

Due to safety concerns, we don't offer or encourage the use of baby monitors in any of our hotel accommodation.

Do you provide cots?
